High Pressure Boiler Hydraulic Tank Sight 2.5 Level Gauge Glass Type
Glass plate level gauge is divided into three kinds: Transparent type, reflection type and sight glass type. The level gauge is mainly composed by level gauge’s body, upper valve (gas valve), lower valve (liquid valve), drain valve, insurance steel ball and so on. When the glass plate have some cracks or be damaged, the insurance steel ball will automatically stop the side valve of gas and liquid to avoid or reduce flowing. So the worker can cut off the bottom valve to handle it. This series product is stable, sealed and reliable, simple installation, which is ideal instrument for detecting for liquid level in all kinds of containers with middle or low pressure.Connecting the upper and lower flanges of this level gauge with the upper and lower flanges of the container to form a permeator, then the height of liquid can be directly seen.
The glass plate type liquid level meter is designed based on the principle of the communicator. The liquid passage formed by the glass plate and the liquid level gauge body is connected to the measured container through a flange or a taper pipe thread to form a communicator, which is observed through the glass plate. The liquid level is the same as the liquid level in the container, that is, the liquid level.

Tips for installation
1. During installation, in order to ensure the function of automatic sealing, the liquid in the container must have a certain pressure, at least more than 0.2MPa. When the upper and lower valves are opened, the valve stem quitting cannot be less than four turns. When the steel ball seals the door, it does not hit the top of the valve stem to avoid damage.
2. In the process of transportation and unpacking, we must be careful not to encounter something harder to avoid breaking the glass plate.
3. Also pay attention to the specifications and models, cannot install the wrong gauge level gauge, some media on the leveler is limited, such as some of the glass or steel plate corrosive media cannot be used.
4. Other maintenance clean, wash and install with the glass tube level gauge is similar
Maintenance of glass plate level gauge
|1.||In order to prevent corrosion of the surface of the level gauge, the surface should be kept clean and dry.|
|2.||When using a level gauge with a temperature higher than normal temperature, it is not advisable to open the valve immediately after installation. It should be preheated for 20-30 minutes before entering the medium after the glass plate has a certain temperature. After the glass plate level gauge is used for a period of time, tighten the plate screw again. When tightening, clamp it in a cross pattern of 1, 3, 5...2, 4, 6...|
|3.||When the needle valve is opened, it should be opened gradually to prevent the steel ball in the valve from being automatically sealed by the one-way pressure of the medium and affecting the accuracy of the indicated liquid level. But after the medium flow is stable, the valve should be fully opened to prevent the steel ball in the valve from being resisted by the valve disc and affecting the automatic closing of the valve when an accident occurs.|
|4.||In order to reduce the installation stress, the actual deviation between the center distance of the two flanges of the level gauge and the center distance of the two flanges of the container should be checked during installation. If the deviation is too large, it should be adjusted, and the installation should not be forced.|
|5.||When the temperature of 1365~1366 high medium exceeds 200℃, the working pressure must be reduced.|
