Magnetic Float Level Indicator Description

Magnetic level gauges, also referred to as magnetic level indicators, are routinely used to provide a display of liquid level in tanks and other vessels. They are often employed in tandem with magnetostrictive, guided wave radar, or other measurement means to provide a reliable local display of liquid level, as well as an electrical signal that can be transmitted to recording instrumentation or controllers.

Magnetic Float Level Indicator Working Principle
Magnetic level gauges work on the principle of communicating vessels, therefore the level in the measuring chamber will be the same as the level in the vessel. The measuring chamber is fitted with a float, which has a magnet inside. The float with magnet will float on the medium and the magnet in the float will turn the flaps of the indicating rail.

According to the needs of the project, the user can also be used with a magnetic control level gauge, digital display on the spot or output 4-20mA standard remote transmission electric signal to meet the needs of recorders and industrial process control. It can also be used in conjunction with magnetic control switches and proximity switches for liquid level monitoring alarms and liquid feeding equipment control.

Note: Handle the float carefully to avoid damage; In order not to affect the read value, all the floats in the display column must be adjusted to white before installation.


How to use magnetic level gauge
Do not allow the magnetizer to approach the body of the level gauge. If it is not close, it will directly affect the action of the level gauge. During transportation, in order to prevent damage to the airbag assembly, take the airbag assembly out of the air pipe of the main body of the level gauge before leaving the factory. After the level gauge is installed, open the smoke exhaust flange at the bottom, and then reinstall the airbag assembly to the main body. Inside the trachea. Please note that the heavier side of the balloon assembly faces upwards and cannot be turned over.
